Launches New TVS Jupiter 110 cc
TVS Motor Company launched its latest model, the Jupiter 110, on August 22, marking the end of its decade-long predecessor. The scooter, which runs on petrol, starts at a price of Rs 73,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC, and Dis. This new generation of the Jupiter will go head-to-head with popular 110cc ICE scooters such as the Honda Activa and Hero Pleasure Plus.
TVS Jupiter 110 is built on a completely new platform and features a 113.3 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 7.9 bhp at 6,500 rpm and delivers peak torque of 9.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm when using iGO Assist, or 9.2 Nm at the same rpm without it. TVS also states that this model offers a 10 percent improvement in mileage over the previous version, thanks to the innovative IGO Assist technology.

He revealed that the company has committed Rs 150 crore to the development of the next-generation Jupiter.
He highlighted that the company has outperformed the industry in scooter sales, recording a 12 percent growth compared to the industry’s 8 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR).
Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President and Head of Commuter Business as well as Corporate Brand & Media at TVSM, emphasized that the TVS Jupiter 110 has served as the cornerstone of the company’s scooter lineup for the past ten years. He pointed out that 6.5 million households have placed their trust in this model, establishing it as one of the leading automotive brands from India.
TVS has introduced the new Jupiter, featuring a smart ignition system that includes auto Start-Stop functionality and an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG). This exciting model is available in six vibrant colors: Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, Titanium Grey Matte, Starlight Blue Gloss, Lunar White Gloss, and Meteor Red Gloss.
The local two-wheeler maker has announced that the new Jupiter 110 is packed with several segment-first features. These include the most spacious under-seat storage, a front external fuel fill, a mobile charger located at the front, a semi-digital speedometer with average and real-time mileage displays, as well as a side stand indicator and engine inhibitor, among others.

Simultaneously, the company is set to launch a 125cc model of the Jupiter in the near future.
