The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle can help you save a lot on fuel costs, cutting your expenses by up to 50% when compared to petrol bikes.

The world’s foremost manufacturer of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, Bajaj Auto, revealed the innovative Freedom, the world’s initial CNG motorcycle, on Friday in Pune, with union minister Nitin Gadkari present.

The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle offers substantial savings on fuel expenses, potentially allowing users to save up to 50% compared to other petrol motorcycles. Equipped with a CNG tank, it can travel over 200 km on just 2 kg of CNG fuel. Moreover, a 2-litre petrol tank serves as a backup, providing an extra 130 km in case the CNG runs out, ensuring a seamless ride.

The Bajaj Freedom 125 is environmentally friendly, as it produces around 26.7% less CO2 emissions than petrol motorcycles. Additionally, CNG vehicles emit 85% lower non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHCs) and 43% less nitrogen oxide (NOx), which helps in creating a cleaner and greener environment.

Unique features

The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle is designed to prioritize comfort, safety, and convenience. Bajaj Auto successfully overcame the challenge of integrating a CNG system into the compact structure of a motorcycle by securely housing the CNG tank and kit within a trellis frame. The bike has undergone extensive testing to guarantee safety.

The motorcycle comes with a horizontally inclined engine and a Link-Mono shock system, ensuring a stable ride while maximizing space. With a 825mm saddle height and a narrow mid-section, it offers easy ground contact.

Despite the CNG tank, the motorcycle maintains a similar center of gravity to petrol bikes, ensuring neutral handling and rider confidence. The mono-linked suspension also improves comfort and wheel travel, making it suitable for various riding conditions.
